The Hometown Quilter

My name is Chris Wright and I have been quilting for 7 years. I am married to a wonderful, supportive man named Virgil, without him I would not have had the courage to take the Leap of Faith and open this store. We have 2 dogs and a cat, they keep us laughing. For as long as I can remember I have been involved in one craft or another, but when I started quilting I knew that I had finally found the thing I loved. I recently lost my job due to a bank merger; I had been in banking for over 27 years. I have been dreaming of opening my own quilt store for a few years now. Losing my job was a blessing in disguise; it gave me the courage to follow my dream. I remember talking with a local quilt store owner about what my future plans were and telling her I wanted to do something different. The thing I remember the most was her telling me, whatever you do make sure it is something you love. So here I am 10 months later.

My favorite time of the year is fall and winter. This is the time of all my favorite holidays, and everything is comfy and cozy.

We will carry a wide variety of fabrics with a focus on Fall, Halloween, Christmas, and Winter. My goal is to carry just what you are looking for.

Our goal is to make you feel at home, all warm and fuzzy while shopping with us.
